    The 2017 Make a Movement will take place Saturday at Brit Spaugh Park. It is a fundraiser for the Dell Hayden Memorial Child Advocacy Center for Abused Children, a program of the Family Crisis Center in Great Bend. Details: There will be a run/walk/bike event starting and ending in the park. Here is the lineup of events: • 7:30 a.m. registration for the 5K, 10K and Bike Race Walkers/runners meet north at side of Brit Spaugh Park by the Zoo entrance.   5. CKPC's A Digital Photography Seminar with Craig McCord

    Make plans now to join the Central Kansas Photography Club at the KWEC on Saturday, May 20 for a day-long, digital photography seminar, featuring Craig McCord. McCord concentrates on fine art landscape photography with a fondness for wide angle perspective. This seminar will highlight techniques for capturing landscape photographs, incorporating strong foreground elements, and adding measures of depth. The photography workshop runs from 9 a.m to 4 p.m. at the Kansas Wetlands Education Center. Registration is $49 before May 4, and includes lunch.
