The staff at the Great Bend Cemetery takes pride in providing the community with a clean and peaceful sanctuary for your loved ones. We are also committed to answering any questions or concerns you may have so that we may better serve you during your time of need.

Responsibilities
The staff is responsible for:
  • Opening and closing graves
  • Lot sales
  • Marking stone settings
  • Grounds and building maintenance
  • Chemical weed spraying
  • Irrigation

Memorial Flowers Placement
Flowers may be placed on Cemetery graves at the Great Bend Cemetery, and Great Bend North Cemetery on May 23rd by 1:00 pm and not before this day or time( NO EXCEPTIONS). Any and all flowers or items that are placed on the graves before this day and time will be removed and discarded so that the Cemetery Staff can continue to mow the cemetery grounds for this Memorial Day Season. If you have any questions please call Cemetery Office at  620-793-4167. 
 
Memorial Flowers Pick up
Flowers must be picked up by Sunday June 2nd. Any and all remaining flowers or Items left on the graves will be removed and discarded on Monday June 3rd by Cemetery Staff at the end of the Memorial Day Season. (NO EXCEPTIONS) if you have any questions please call Cemetery Office at 620-793-4167.
