The Golden Belt Humane Society will sponsor its next Adopt-A-Pet event from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., Saturday February 4th at Orscheln’s on West 10th in Great Bend.? Humane Society volunteers will be serving chicken noodle soup, vegetable beef soup or beef & noodles, crackers, cinnamon rolls, and a bottle of water in exchange for a $10 dollar donation.? 2:00pm - Children aged 3-12 years who love fairytales will enjoy this camp full of creative magic lead by the Barton Dance Theatre students. Kids will learn dance, have an acting class, do some tumbling, create a craft and more! Activities will be age-appropriate. This course gives participants the knowledge, skills, and confidence to care for toddlers through school-aged children. Topics include safety issues, preventing injuries and illness, basic childcare, and age-appropriate activities to do with children. Each student will receive a wealth of information. Participants must be 11 by the class date. Pre-registration is required by February 20th.
School’s out early so get registered to spend the afternoon at the Activity Center making crafts, enjoying yummy snacks, and doing other activities. Pre-registration is required by February 17th.
