GBRC - Lifeguard Recertification Class

This class is for any individual needing to be recertified in lifeguard training. CPR and Lifeguard certifications will be renewed at the completion of this class. The preliminary skills include a 300-yard swim, a timed surface dive in 10ft. of water, getting a 10lb. brick and swimming with it for 20 yards, and 2 minutes of non-stop treading. This class meets at Barton Community College Pool from 9:00am to 6:00pm on Saturday, March 18th. Please bring your personal CPR mask, book, and a sack lunch and snacks with you to class. Deadline to enroll in this class is March 10th. Fee: $85.
