Sealed Bids will be received by the City of Great Bend, Kansas, at the office of the City Clerk, for the construction of FY 2014 KLINK: Microsurfacing consisting of US 56 – Patton Rd. to Kennedy St., US 56 – McKinley St. to Harrison St., US 56 – Washington St. to Frey St., US 56 – Frey St. to 1350 ft west of Kiowa Rd. until 2:00 p.m. on the 10th of September, 2013, at which time and place the Bids will be opened publicly and read aloud in the City Council Chambers at 1209 Williams, Great Bend, Kansas.
Principle items of work include approximately 65,845 SY of Microsurfacing and Striping per the Base Bid, with and approximately 12,851 SY of Microsurfacing and Striping per the Bid Alternate.
The Base Bid project should be bid to be completed in no more than Thirty (30) calendar days. An
additional Ten (10) calendar days shall be granted if the Owner elects to approve the Bid Alternate work included in the plans. Completion of the project in its entirety shall be no later than October 31, 2013.
