This class is for any individual needing to be recertified in lifeguard training. CPR and Lifeguard certifications will be renewed at the completion of this class. The preliminary skills include a 300-yard swim, a timed surface dive in 10ft. of water, getting a 10lb. brick and swimming with it for 20 yards, and 2 minutes of non-stop treading. This class meets at Barton Community College Pool from 9:00am to 6:00pm on Saturday, March 18th. Please bring your personal CPR mask, book, and a sack lunch and snacks with you to class. Deadline to enroll in this class is March 10th. Fee: $85.

The mission of Laundry Love is to wash the clothes and bedding of low/no income families and individuals. Laundry Love exists to help prevent physical and emotional strain that poor health and hygiene places on the under-resourced in our community. 10am – 2pm Discount Laundry 924 Jefferson St.
