Chief Haulmark was appointed the Chief of Police in December 2020 and is responsible for leading the Great Bend Police Department. He has been employed in law enforcement since 1995 and prior to coming to Great Bend was employed by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department where he served in numerous roles including patrol, investigations and community policing. Chief Haulmark has a bachelor’s degree in management and human relations and a master’s degree in business administration, both from MidAmerica Nazarene University. In addition, Chief Haulmark is a graduate of the 75th session of the Police Executive Research Foundation Senior Management Institute for Police.
