The Great Bend Fire Department offers a Ride-Along Program to students who are interested in becoming a firefighter/EMT. This program allows students the opportunity to experience the day of a firefighter first hand and what responding to an emergency entails.
Students interested in this program need to read the Great Bend Fire Department Ride-Along Program Rules and review and sign the Great Bend Fire Department Ride-Along Program Application and Liability/Confidentiality Waiver. Please mail these documents to Great Bend Fire Department Ride-Along Program, 1205 Williams Street, Great Bend, Kansas 67530. Our office will be in contact to schedule a ride-along.
