Dr. Mike Malone, DVM & Dr. Jackie Corbett, DVM
Dr. Mike Malone, DVM, has been the Great Bend - Brit Spaugh Zoo's veterinarian for more than 30 years. Dr. Malone and Dr. Jackie Corbett, DVM, both from the Animal Care Hospital in Great Bend, are on contract with the city to provide vet care to the animals at the zoo.
They visit the zoo almost every Wednesday afternoon to conduct physical exams and provide routine care. They are also on call as needed. The zoo clinic is located in the Raptor Center and there is a large window that allows our visitors to watch procedures.
